Alrighty then. Thanks Tim. Just wondering in case it was better to hone your skills in novelwriting for example over screenwriting or graphicnovel scripting... But it's all good

When I started my drive to be published I hadn't given any thought writing anything but my novel. I couldn't even spell blog when i started and now I understand how having written a few dozen now it's helping grow as a writer. As writers we need to spread our wings ans seek every opportunity to show case our thoughts. I'll definitely join you over to The Entrepreneurial Writer and look forward to learning a great deal from my fellow writers. Chris Keys-spread the word! David, I think it's always better to work in as many media as possible. It increases your chances of something hitting and being widely read, which will mean more work and more chances to improve. If you're a fiction writer, I suggest working on whatever long-form book you have in mind, writing a short novel that you self-publish, writing short stories, and maybe also writing essays if you have a mind to that sort of thing. You can't be too versatile.

I have a piece on Authonomy.com and I would be happy to explain how it works, it's pretty easy.

I've started a Ning network called The Entrepreneurial Writer that I'd love to invite everyone to join. I'm going to be talking a lot about how writers can create their own opportunities to publish and profit from their work—and in the not-too-distant future, holding live workshops and publishing a book on the subject. So if you'd like to find out about all the ways to thumb your nose at the New York publishers and make a good living writing, come on by.

Hello To All Ya'll out there. I've got a question: Is it better to stick with one writing format(i.e Novels) or write stories in a multitude of mediums?

I thougt i'd found an agent but have since found I was just come on to get me to buy services from them, like critquing and editing. I have real editor now and the difference is night and day. Through I do have to say I found a publisher through them but inly because the publisher bought themout and found me in their computer. They weren't going to turn me in to their new partner cause they thought I might be good eniugh to sell to someone else and collect their percentage. With their new partner,,they don't get a percentage. so I can understand why thye tried to pull that. Since I have the publisher they have simply walked away without any contact. So I need a new honest agent, cause I have several books waiting for someplace to be published.

OH my gosh my story is unfolding. I have 53 short moral stories but a story popped into my head the other day and I am a maniac on the key tapping. It was when I was young and my brother figured a way to keep me out of the water to baby sit me, the story just flew out of my brain onto the computer. The Mossy Turdle what a great story, I need a publisher so bad, I am in love with telling stories, from the heart. Keep writing all. It is something that is left behind when you are long gone, you voice echos through time with words. Dvora
