About the author / Sobre el autor

Rubén Javier Nazario is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky (Kentucky Children's Hospital), and holds a Master of Arts Degree in Latin American Studies from Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, New York.  His first book, La soberbia venganza del verbo, won the Best Book of Short Stories Award for 2006 by the PEN Club of Puerto Rico.


Rubén Javier Nazario, es Catedrático Auxiliar de Pediatría en la Universidad de Kentucky (Kentucky Children's Hospital), y posee una maestría en Estudios Latinoamericanos de Skidmore College, en Saratoga Springs, Nueva York.  Su primer libro, La soberbia venganza del verbo,  ganó el Premio al Mejor Libro de Cuentos para el año 2006 por el PEN Club de Puerto Rico.
